Therapy Rates
Please contact us for our current rate schedule and choices in length of session and therapist. Individual therapy session fees range from $170-200 per session. Couples therapy sessions start at $180 per 50 minute session. Session times range from 50-90 minutes per session. Please contact Rick or Mina for their individual fee rates.
Insurance
Many clients are surprised to hear that there may be significant drawbacks to using their mental health benefits through their insurance plan. We believe it is important that our clients are aware that by not using your insurance, you can greatly increase your privacy and protect your medical record from holding pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies require a "Mental Health Diagnosis" which becomes part of your permanent medical record. This may create difficulties in increased premiums. (ie. life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance). By not using your insurance, you can determine which therapist you wish to see and how long you wish to be in treatment.
If after considering the above information you still wish to use your insurance, counseling may be covered in part if you have a PPO insurance plan. In such cases, we would provide you with a billing statement (after payment for services is made to Stoneridge Counseling Services). You would then submit that claim to your insurance carrier for partial reimbursement. You can check your coverage by calling your insurer and asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Does my insurance allow for "out of network" provider?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment
Cash, check and most major credit cards accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
